MARY ZHANG represents clients on appeal and in postconviction proceedings.
Mary focuses her practice on constitutional issues with an additional emphasis on the constitutional rights of juvenile defendants. She has drafted several Colorado Supreme Court writs of certiorari arguing constitutional claims. She has also helped trial and appellate attorneys craft constitutional arguments for juvenile clients.
Mary graduated from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. During her time there, she was active in student government. As a student leader, she advocated for greater dialogue between groups. She was also nominated as a student representative for her class within student government. Outside of school, she has won awards in speech competitions and has experience advocating for causes within diverse settings, including mediation and criminal court.
Mary enjoys kempo karate, improv comedy, and architectural design.
