Nick is admitted to practice law in Colorado, Illinois, and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is also a member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar.
Prior to joining The Noble Law Firm, Nick clerked at the Colorado Court of Appeals for the Honorable Judge Robert Hawthorne where he drafted dozens of criminal and postconviction appellate decisions. He gained valuable skills in identifying trial and appellate errors and tailoring arguments to achieve the most successful results for clients in postconviction and appellate proceedings
Before clerking, Nick worked for a trial criminal defense firm where he focused on motions practice and litigation preparation. Before moving to Colorado, Nick practiced complex civil litigation and patent prosecution at an intellectual property law firm in Chicago representing Fortune 500 companies and small businesses.
Nick received his law degree from the University of Illinois, magna cum laude, was a published member of the Illinois Law Review, and was president of the law school’s American Civil Liberties Union chapter.
